Bio-variety: what is it?
The ecosystems of the nature reserve are quite unlike each other (rivers, lakes, mountains, cane-brakes, woods, meadows, marshes, fields and urban areas) and they are in a delicate equilibrium.
When you visit the reserve, your rule must be "to look and not to touch"!
Leaving everything in its place for who will come is the best thing to do because the worst threat to bio-variety is the dying out of rare species, for instance the otter (lutra lutra), which used to live in the reserve, can’t be found anymore.
Every living creature depends on bio-variety and any person can do something for it: respecting the natural environment, plants and wild animals, keeping the natural habitat where you live in clean and preserve it, being a volunteer of naturalist associations, reducing your own rubbish and recycling as much as you can
