Walking in the town centre: Gera Lario's frescoes
The complex of the buildings and narrow roads that starts from the square in front of the church of Nostra Signora di Fatima offers an intriguing walking through century of history and devotion.
Still on the square, it is possible to see many frescoes of centuries XVI and XVII, in particular a Madonna with Child and the saints Sebastiano and Rocco, with other ones of religious subject.
By walking in the silent roads, one may easily see many sights of a rural past with ancient bulidings of different times, mixed with many chapels and frescoes, a great number of them for a such a tiny but wonderful hamlet.
