Gera Lario accomodation services are good, keeping in mind that the hamlet is little. Being on the lake and in a fisherman place, it is a must to try tipical lake dishes, following own pleasure and seasons. A tipical fish menu might have missoltini (dried and salted local fish Agoni, Alosa fallax lacustris) and fish "in carpione" (fish left in infusion into a sauce for hours) as appetizer, risotto with fillets of pesce persico (Perca Fluvialis, very delicate) as first course, pollans with fried alborelle (small fish) as second, all with some perfect lombard white wines (Franciacorta from Brescia, Pinot or Riesling from Oltrepò Pavese, some new precious whites wines from valtellina made with Rossola e Pignola grapes) that remarks good taste and quality of the lake fish.
