Arriving by plane:
The nearest international airports are Malpensa, Linate and Orio al Serio. All airports offer car rental. By taxi or shuttle, it is easy to go from these airports to railway stations (Milano Centrale, Bergamo), from where it is possible to arrive in Gera Lario, as written under.
Arriving by train:
Gera Lario is easily reachable from Colico railway station: all trains of the lines Milano- Sondrio-Tirano, Chiavenna-Colico and Bergamo-Lecco-Colico provide links respectively from Milan and Milanese airports (Malpensa, Linate), from Valtellina, from Valchiavenna, and from Orio al Serio airport.
Once in Colico, the connections of buses for Como (near the station square) connect Gera Lario in about 15 minutes, as written under.
Arriving by Bus:
The SPT C10 line Como-Menaggio-Colico has lot of buses starting from aside the Colico railway station square and get in Gera Lario in about 15 minutes (10 km of road).
Arriving by car:
Gera Lario is on state road 340 dir Regina, that links Menaggio to Valtellina on the western Como lake shore, ending with the connection of SS 36 of Como lake and Spluga, that links Milan to Spluga Pass (and then to Chur, Switzerland).
